****Spotlight: Daum's POTPLAYER****

Promised deviant, #KidVicious I'd put up a screen shot of a new media player I've just stumbled upon yesterday. I'm not sure if it plays .mkv files since I've only been using it to listen to music. It's very light, doesn't consume much ram. I am assuming it's still new or a lot of people do not use it since there are not many skins for this.

Best part? Super fun to customize* :)
(Works out great for me since I didn't like having to have a winamp + rm/cad open at the same time! You get the sleek, stylish custom look with reduced** ram usage)

-------
Still working on this desktop layout of mines. I wanted to take some time to modify as much as I could and make sure that everything's minimal and perfect!

Currently In Use:
_VS: Prod by ~ #dA
_Start Orb: Fudge VS Start Orb by ~ #dA
_Wall: Smooth by ~ #dA
_Icon: Token Dark by ~ #dA (If anybody knows how to apply the token 'file type' icons, please let me know! I'm not sure if 7conifier does this, I used to do it through TuneUp Utilities..)

As a matter of fact, PotPlayer is arguably the best currently available free player for ultra-high-definition video files, although it takes some setup and is only worthwhile if your computer meets the specs. Anime-enthusiasts swear by PotPlayer to play their ridiculously hi-def Anime videos. Link: [link]

Here are the token file type icons.

Use Iconpackager to apply them.

Is there a packager you'd refer?

I installed my Token Icons with Ragnarok's .cmd installer.

Iconpackager seems to be the most user friendly in my experience. You just find the file type and mainly replace files individually. The interface is really simple as well.

Woow, so this is what you were talking about. Might just swap VLC player for this. How hard is it to modify?

Yeahup. I uninstalled MPC Star/Tiger Player and kept VLC around. I want to be sure it's truly obsolete before I remove it. Although, I just checked and it looks like PotPlayer can play just about every video file. Works with my .mkv's (most important for me).

By the way, I forgot to mention the skin was called SimpleDark.

Is 350+ skins enough for you? =) [link] Uncheck the "Use our download manager blaa blaaa.."-option.
